Visited Valentina’s Bakery today in Boca Raton with my mom and grandpa — I’m visiting from New Jersey and they are from Orlando and West Palm Beach. We wanted something authentic and Valentina’s delivered. Valentina welcomed us herself and was very friendly and courteous. That made the visit feel special. We ordered lomo empanadas, ají de gallina empanadas, rosquitas, coffee, torta helada, a lúcuma smoothie, and torta peruana. The empanadas were the highlight: the lomo was well seasoned and the ají de gallina was creamy and flavorful, not dry. Rosquitas were a nice crunchy snack with coffee. The lúcuma smoothie tasted like the real thing, and both the torta helada and torta peruana were excellent — light, not overly sweet. The staff was friendly and the bakery felt clean and welcoming. It was a great stop for three generations of Peruvians that we are. If you’re in Boca Raton and want a real Peruvian bakery, this is the place. We’ll definitely recommend and be back!

I was excited to try this place but wish I didn’t. 30 minutes to get a dasayuno Lurin which should should not take so long since besides making the chicharrón, which should already at least be prepped and thrown in the fryer, all they have to do is reheat a tamal and assemble a sandwich. Once we finally got it, my first impression was “wow they really skimp on the pork”. The chicharrón looked more like sliced ham. It was also dry and too lean. The chicharrón should be cut thicker with more fat to get that pork flavor with every bite. Unfortunately I tasted mostly bread and rocoto which I added because I love it but it should be used to enhance the flavor not mask it. Desayuno Lurin at Bravos Peruvian kitchen you get at least 4 times the chicharrón for the same price and better quality. Very disappointing experience. The beef in the empanadas was dry. The smoothies were pretty good which is why I gave 2 stars.

The empanadas and the desserts were so delicious! The woman helping us was also so nice. My husband forgot to order a second empanada and the woman brought it over to our table so quick and told us to pay after we ate. A lovely experience!

I highly recommend Valentina’s Bakery! The empanadas are absolutely delicious, and the desserts are simply outstanding. They offer a great variety of fresh and flavorful options, so there’s something for everyone. The customer service is also excellent—friendly, welcoming, and attentive. A wonderful place to enjoy authentic treats and a great overall experience. We will definitely be back! 😊🍰🥟☕️

Stopped by this afternoon for a quick snack. I had an empanada and coffee—both were delicious! The service and atmosphere met my expectations, and the owner was very friendly. The place was clean, with plenty of space and easy parking. Prices are reasonable, and I’ll definitely be back to try the cakes.
